spARK Labs by ARK Invest hosted the ARK Big Ideas Summit at the ARK Innovation Center in St. Petersburg, bringing together national and local leaders for a day of panels centered on artificial intelligence. ARK Invest founder and CEO Cathie Wood joined Target executive chairman Brian Cornell, Tampa General Hospital CEO John Couris and Palantir’s Ted Mabrey to discuss AI’s impact on healthcare, highlighting TGH’s Palantir-powered Sepsis Hub, which has helped save hundreds of lives. Wood pointed to spARK Labs as a launching pad for the region’s innovation economy, tying it to ARK’s broader vision for the Gas Plant District redevelopment. ARK Invest’s research team also unveiled its 2026 Big Ideas report, projecting a $500 billion opportunity in autonomous logistics and a $1.2 quadrillion opportunity in extending human lifespan through biotech by the end of the decade.
